Slovenia is one of the greenest countries in the world, and the fifth cleanest. It is also our home, the base of Alkemist Adventures, and we want to show it in its true colours, yet in a different way.

On this 12-day tour, we will be riding along the greatest natural beauty spots in our small country (Bled, Bohinj, the Julian Alps, and the Soča river). We will be taking unpaved and side roads to manoeuvre through these gems, allowing you to experience pristine nature, small villages, and mountain plateaus. A stop to taste the wines in one of our wine-growing areas (Goriška Brda) is of course included in our itinerary. We will take a swim in the sea, visit a karst cave, and make an ascent over the highest road for motor vehicles in Slovenia (all the way to the Mangart Saddle).

Although Slovenia's population is only 2 million people, and its area a mere 20,000 square kilometres, you are guaranteed so much diversity, as if you have travelled 20,000, and not just 1,000 kilometres. This will come as no surprise, as Slovenia “is a hidden jewel in the heart of Europe”, as one distinguished newspaper noted.

The particularity of this tour is that we will have 2 additional days of 2 different types of training prior the tour for our riders: an offroad training and the onroad training which will be led according to the BMW Motorrad Instructor Academy. Your instructor will be 18 times Dakar competitor and official BMW Offroad Instructor, who have prepared many exercises with simulations of different paths: gravel, mixed sand etc. as also some intensive training on road in order to improve your skills and prepare for the tour in the best way.
